The book was letterpress printed on Somerset paper with a Vandercook 4 proof press using handset metal type in Perpetua, along with wood type for blind printing of the category numerals on each page. It was printed and hand bound at the Jaffe Center for Book Arts in an edition of 13 copies during hurricane season 2015. The book's structure is primarily non-adhesive with fourteen pages sewn onto a concertina inserted into Hedi Kyle's crown binding within reinforced paper covers. Housed in a cloth covered clamshell box with a printed table of the Beaufort wind scale's thirteen levels of wind force on the interior of the box top.
